AeroVironment has developed the Quantix drone, a commercial-grade unmanned aircraft vehicle. It can be used for data collection and analysis, and can communicate via a Decision Support System (DSS), compatible with other unmanned devices. The drone's unique vertical takeoff/landing motion gives it a greater range than traditional unmanned aerial vehicles. The drone can cover 40 linear miles in an hour or less, and the cost is yet to be announced.

Draganfly

Quantix Draganfly's global dealers network is composed of professional dealers who provide pre and post-sales as well as marketing support. The company has already welcomed dealers from the U.S. and Canada and is actively reviewing interest from Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. To better serve different market segments, the company offers several levels of representation. Read on to discover more about the advantages of being a dealer.

AeroVironment and Draganfly both understand the benefits that the Quantix Mapper can offer. Draganfly plans to expand its distribution channels for drones. This includes direct to consumer and reseller channels as well as civilian and military drones. Draganfly, which has been producing drones for 22-years, recently purchased AeroVironment, an unmanned aerial system manufacturer. Both companies plan to increase their collaboration over the next few years and expand their partnership into other industries.

Aerovironment and Draganfly have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement. Draganfly will be selling Aerovironment's commercial drone, Quantix Mapper. The deal is a good fit for both companies. It also shows how the major players in drone industry are distinguishing themselves. Patrick Imbasciani is Draganfly's Chief Operative Officer. He explains the reasons for this partnership. AeroVironment will continue to use the company's contract engineering services. The company will also distribute its products to customers all over the world.

AeroVironment

AeroVironment's Quantix unmanned aerial vehicle is now available. The Quantix is a multidomain robotic system leader, and was created for farm use. It boasts a one-meter wingspan and carbon fiber spar reinforcement. Vertical takeoff and landing are also possible. It can automatically scan land for signs such as crop stress, water problems, and yields. Farm operators don't need to be trained and can use the drone without any prior experience.

Quantix uses vertical takeoffs and landings, which makes it compatible for many unmanned systems. It can fly up up to 45 minutes over an area of 400 acres. It's compatible to AeroVironment’s Decision Support System and other unmanned devices. The drone takes off vertically and quickly transitions to horizontal flight while in the air. This allows it to fly further. The drone can cover 40 linear miles in an hour, according to AeroVironment, and the company says more features will follow.

The Quantix Recon has a ruggedized Ground Control Station tablet that can be used by an operator in the field. It comes with one airframe, three batteries, and some spare propellers. It is more cost-effective than expensive models and parts can easily be replaced. QuantixRecon is less susceptible to damage. This makes it less likely to need repairs or replacements. Operators can use the drone's camera and GPS with ease even without an internet connection.

FAQ

What are the rules of operation when using drones?

How To

What is a battery pack and how do I replace it?

Your drone's main power source is the battery pack. These packs provide enough power to keep your quadcopter in flight safely and smoothly.

Most likely, there won't be any noticeable difference in the batteries of a new drone. However, the battery pack will eventually wear down. You might lose your drone's ability to function properly. It is important to change the battery to make sure your drone works properly.

It is best to replace a battery pack with the original part. If you install a faulty pack, your drone could be damaged.

These are the steps you need to follow in order to replace a dead battery pack.

  1. Disconnecting the battery connector cable is a good idea. This ensures your drone doesn’t receive any electricity. Simply pull the connector cable off the drone to disconnect it.
  2. Remove the battery pack. Unscrew your quadcopter's battery pack. The battery pack is usually split into two pieces.
  3. Locate the contacts of your battery. Look for the contacts after you've removed your battery pack. These pins attach the battery to the other parts of the drone.
  4. Install the new battery. Next, insert the new battery into your drone. To do so, align the battery connectors on both sides of the battery pack. Push the battery pack onto your drone. Once the battery is in place, tighten all bolts.
  5. Attach the battery connector cable. Connect the battery connector cable to your drone after installing the new battery pack.
  6. Test the drone. Check that your drone still works properly before you fly it again. You can be proud if your drone still works.
