The X-45 is a unmanned combat aircraft (UCAV) developed by Boeing. On May 22, 2002, the first flight took place. Six months later, it completed another flight. DICE software controlled the aircraft, making them the first progenitors of "flying UCAV swarm". UCAVs are unmanned "swarms" that act as unmanned aircraft. Each unit functions as a computer mind, similar to a cloud. This idea is still quite futuristic for many defense groups, but it was science fiction in early 2000s.

How To

Repairing A Damaged Drone Motor

First, identify the broken part of the motor to repair it. The easiest way to do this is to remove the propeller from the motor shaft. You should then remove the wires that are attached to the motor, and examine the inner workings. If you find something wrong, it is time to identify the problem.

If there are no damages to the motor you don't have too much to worry about. However, if your motor looks anything like these images, then you will need some parts replaced before you can fly.

Let's say that a motor is bent so that it can no longer turn. The motor will need to be bent back into its original shape. To hold the motor in place, you can use a pair or vice grips. After you have completed this step, be sure to inspect the motor for any signs of wear.

Once everything is in order, attach the propeller to the motor shaft. Now your drone is ready to fly!
